Tour tayos cave

We start our trip after 09.00 am. A calm and wondrous trip over the Nangaritza river. You will briefly visit both canons, Miasi and Shaime. We begin our adventure by visiting Shaime, the main village of the Shuar community in Nangaritza valley. From here a Shuar guide will guide us to the Oilbird Cave. This walk is physically demanding; it will take us 2 hours and 30 minutes to arrive. An enchanting experience when you can see the landscape changing from Shuar farm to the primary rainforest. At the entrance af the cave we will be rewarded by restful break where we eat our boxed lunch.  Afterwards we will start exploring the cave. There we will see a small formation of stalagmites and stalagtites and the oilbirds.Then, we will walk back to Shaime. Lastly, a refreshing bath in the waters of the Chumbiriatza will be the perfect way to finish this tour.

NOTE:

Please be aware, in order to do this program we need time in advance (five days)to contact the Shuar community so they will provide us with a guide and allow us to walk in this area. Therefore we need the total of this price be paid in advance.
